Avid4 Adventure empowers kids to choose an active, outdoor lifestyle. As our Administrative Assistant, you will provide key support to the Mt. Evans Overnight Camp Leadership team, and more specifically, the needs of our Parent Experience Operation.  We seek a professional who is organized, self-motivated, task-oriented with a high standard of customer service to deliver an amazing experience for our families and assist the Leadership team to help camp run smoothly.

The Top Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant

Assist the Parent Experience operation

  • Provide incredible customer service to our families by phone and email.
  • Assist with ownership and execution of Family Days to give a premier experience for our families.

Support the Leadership Team

  • Take ownership of necessary tasks for a smooth operation of the camp.
  • Owning the set-up and execution of Anniversary Gifts, Passports, Stickers, Letters to Self, Postcards, and other projects.
  • Ensure and communicate needs for a functional workspace in the camp office for all staff.

Logistics Support of Camp Program

  • Help with Program Support for large-scale All Camp Activities, Evening Activities
  • Support the Photo Supervisor with creative projects
  • Assist camper programming, emergencies, and other needs as necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous administrative experience in an office setting
  • Ability to handle high-stress environments and handle a variety of tasks.  
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certifications prior to the start of camp

Important Dates:

  • Training starts in early June. Camp programs run through mid-August. For specific details on each location & program, please click here.

Compensation:

  • $14.85/hour.
  • Option to live at camp is available.
