As a part of our Camp Leadership team, you will manage a professional staff (ages 19+), address the needs of parents, manage the operational aspects of camp, and find fulfillment building a program that inspires kids to love outdoor life.  Job Requirements:

Must be at least 25 Years old (23 years old for Assistant Director positions)

Bachelor's Degree preferred

Wilderness First Responder (WFR) & CPR (can obtain post hire, prior to start of camp) - We reimburse 50% of the WFR course fee in your first season and the other 50% in your second season

Valid Driver's License*

Previous camp leadership experience with a day or overnight camp

Experience in at least one of our core sports (biking, climbing, hiking, paddling)

*Avid4 Adventure requires Camp Leadership staff with a CA license to obtain a commercial driver's license in order to transport campers to and from recreational areas.  Obtaining a CDL requires a specific CDL medical physical and passing two tests at the DMV (written and driving). Staff that obtain a CDL receive a $300 lump sum to cover cost and time.


Training Dates:

Typical Camp Leadership schedule: (Must be reachable during evenings for immediate needs)

Monday- Friday approximately 7:00am- 4:30pm.


Camp Leadership Training 5/4 - 5/6

All Staff Training - 6/2 - 6/9
