The Aftercare Supervisor is responsible for engaging campers in on-site age-appropriate activities after the camp day has ended. This is a part-time position and typical hours are from 2:30-6:00pm, M-F.  The Aftercare Supervisor may choose to use Avid4 Adventure curriculum or provide their own.  Aftercare Supervisors will be given a budget to purchase all materials for their program. This position is responsible for supervising campers, leading age-appropriate, after camp activities, providing snack, supporting campers' comfort, confidence, and creativity with new endeavors, and maintaining a safety-oriented environment. Instructors will also be communicating with parents when they arrive for pick up. Activities will all take place at the specific camp location. Aftercare Supervisors will have the opportunity to participate in Avid4 Adventure's full staff training including training in climbing, biking, hiking, and paddling, though all after care activities will be on site and not adventure-sport focused.  Aftercare Supervisors who complete the full training will be given the opportunity to substitute at day camp.
