Position Overview:

Avid4 Adventure empowers kids to choose an active, outdoor lifestyle.  The Assistant Manager of Parent Experience will be the main support to the Manager of Parent experience in serving all of our families and ensure fluid and timely communication to address needs and concerns. This role will report to the Manager of Parent Experience.

The 3 Bottom Lines for the Assistant Manager of Staff Experience:


I. Safety First


  • Owner of the camp email and phone line to make sure that parents have direct line to the camp for real-time communication.  
  • Handle parent concerns promptly to make sure that we maintain confidence with our families and address issues quickly and effectively.
  • Aid in resolving high level concerns brought from the Leadership Team and parents to ensure safety and quality experience of all staff

II. Stellar Programs

  • Helps with the staff photo program, providing daily updates, group photos, and end of session slideshows, making sure that our best is on display with our campers and families.
  • Aid in the facilitation and organization of the mail program (both camper email and regular USPS) to ensure that all campers get there mail sent promptly and receive their mail on-time
  • Execute on a detail-oriented plan for opening and closing days to give parents the best experience while here on camp.


III. Passionate Staff

  • Be seen and active with group, being a fun, positive presence for all staff.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and parents to ensure specific isssues with campers are addressed
    • Observe staff performance and provide feedback to the Leadership Team.
    • Recognize staff for good perfomrance based on parent response and appreciation.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 21+ years of age
  • Bachelor's degree in science, education, or related field preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License, Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and CPR
  • Excellent customer service skills, both by phone and in-person.
  • Strong sense of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle high-stress environments and handle variety of tasks.


  • Pre-Season Training: Leadership Training - April 27-29; All Staff Training - June 6-16
  • Camp Dates: June 17- July 29 (Windy Peak); June 17-August 12 (Mt. Evans)
