Avid4 Adventure empowers kids to choose an active, outdoor lifestyle. As a Program Supervisor, you will be responsible for designing and delivering program activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the campers' age and abilities. This will include the oversight of our onsite adventure program, including low ropes, archery, teambuilding, mountain boards, slacklining, and more. This role will report to the Manager of Camper Experience.

The Top Responsibilities for the Program Supervisor:

I. Plan and Implement Program Activities

Plan and lead evening events, ceremonies, clubs, and dining hall themes.
Utilize teens in implementation of program activities.
Provide oversight and coordination to LIT program.
Manage camp betterment projects and off-site service projects.


II. Program Design and Implementation

Implement lesson plans for low ropes, archery, mountain boards, and more.
Evaluate camper skill levels and teach an appropriate skill progression for each age group.
Provide equipment oversight including basic maintenance, weekly inventory, and documenting safety checks.


III. Program Team Support

Provide support to camper experience team as needed.
Provide supervision of campers as needed.
Attend weekly staff meetings.
All other duties as assigned by Camp Director.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 21+ years of age
  • Bachelor's degree in science, education, or related field preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License, Wilderness First Aid (WFA) and CPR
  • Experience leading large group events and teaching low ropes and archery.
  • Experience leading youth and a passion for working with kids.
  • Ability to handle high-stress environments and handle variety of tasks.


  • Pre-Season Training: June 6-16, 2018
  • Camp Dates: June 17- July 29 (Windy Peak)
